Some grounds were famous because they were huge. **The Dell was famous because it was tight, loud and unmistakably Southampton.** Home to Southampton from **1898 to 2001**, The Dell became one of English football’s most distinctive old grounds. Compact stands. Supporters right on top of the pitch. Big nights under the lights. Generations of Saints fans packed into a stadium that always felt closer, sharper and more intense than its size suggested. The **The Dell collection by Stylo Matchmakers** celebrates the lost grounds that gave football its character. Before football became polished. Before every stadium started to look the same. When a football ground felt like part of the neighbourhood. **FOOTBALL LIVED HERE.** ### The T-Shirt A classic unisex cotton tee with a structured fit and substantial feel. For more than a century it witnessed promotions, relegations, cup runs, great players and unforgettable matches. But The Dell was never about scale. It was about closeness. The crowd felt close to the pitch. The stands felt close to each other. The whole place felt built around football rather than around everything else. It had imperfections. That was the point. The ground has gone. The memories have not. **The Dell. 1898–2001.** **Football Lived Here.** ### Please Note Due to the natural properties of the fabric, the White colour option may appear slightly off-white rather than brilliant white. Natural coloured garments may also contain darker speckles within the fabric. These are an expected characteristic of the material rather than a printing defect. **STYLO MATCHMAKERS** *Football history you can wear.*
